justice or not

Justice seems today, never to be quite justice.  Our justice system is so devastating that a death of a 17 year old African American has called millions to yell injustice. But before everyone runs their mouth to voice their opinion on whether the not guilty verdict is right, stop and put yourself in the scenario.

If you were Zimmerman, an off patrol neighborhood security guard, following a suspicious man in the neighborhood you patrolled and lived, attacked you, you would defend yourself. As stated from his self defense instructor, he took steps to ensure the safety of his neighborhood and himself. It is arguable and complicated to understand the circumstances , but if you were jumped by a male, who you do not know, and feared for your life, hearing what Martin said, what would you do.

So the two shouldn't have collided, and Zimmerman didn't know the street names. He still dialed 911 before getting out of the car.  Sure, he didn't need to get out of the car to follow the straggler, but isn't that more of heroism than looking for trouble. Sometimes, what's overlooked is a person with curiosity and hero like attributes . Yes, he didn't need to follow Martin. But Martin didn't need to attack him not did he have to threaten Zimmerman.

Look at the case and the facts. Put yourself in the shoes of Martin. Why would you attack someone who is following you, when the man clearly wasn't threatening your life.  Why wouldn't you run and disappear? Why would you attack someone who clearly thinks your up to no good. If you were there for a reason, why would you escalate it to a fight? Because your scared? Afraid of what?

I understand the justice system is messed up in so many ways. Do I think Zimmerman was guilty or not? We ll never know. But if I just look on the outside and think of what it must've been like for either person with the facts and statements, I don't see why A) There was an attack in the first place. And B) why the heck did Zimmerman get out of the car.

It is truly a sad case because a life was lost. Regardless of the races played in this scenario, it is truly sad that someone died. I wish the court systems were better and that Zimmerman would pay some sort of time for manslaughter. But this is the system that drops the lower crime to chase the bigger one. The DA could have and still might, try to chase the assault instead of the murder. But either way, the justice system allows the 50/50 justice if your guilty or not guilty.

I really wish people would drop the race comments. It's almost unfair because if the races were switched, we would be saying the African American was fighting in self defense and the loss of life was am accident. The more and more times we bring up race means the more and more we let racism affect us.

I agree Zimmerman should do time . But I also know that, even though he is free, he has to live with this the rest of his life. His job security is never for sure and obtaining a new one would be so much harder. Travyons face will forever hunt him and Martins family will never get their son back. It is truly a sad day in which the World sees flaws or the courts are in effective. But at the same time, it should be a lesson that , there's no reason to attack a man, especially if there is no threat.

Remember before you judge, we are only on lookers. We were never there in the situation. We can only help ourselves in the future. Don't be at the wrong place at the wrong time. Im sure if you self defended yourself and accidentally killed someone, you would be undeniably questioned, why did you kill this person.
And you wouldn't be saying all the crap celebrities are saying.
