Haters Gone Hate.

Don't do this to Em' Don't do this to em'
Do what, scoop down to their level, acknowledge their shit.
Stop it, Stop it, Don't even think bout it'
Someone's gotta tell em how it is.
Rule 25 Rule 25, you don't even know if it's true.
Yeah, well there's been a lot of shit talking goin' around
Rule # 6 Rule # 8, Rule #15, Rule# 47!
To Be the Difference,
People Live by 'Me first, You second,'
You're right, There is no time for Bullshit, ever'
Let it go my friend, let it go.
You must've over looked, Act Accordingly.

It's not worth all the gossip, all the flak
Anyone ever tell you, Rather be hated for who I am
than Loved for something I'm not
No, but I think you live by Loved by Few, Hated by Many
It's not about knowing who I am, it's about living by truth
You already know who means something and who doesn't
And they already have my back
So why does it matter, why say anything at all?
Cause it's one thing to say something, It's another to actually Do.
DO you want acknowledgement, Do you want acceptance?
I could care less about any of that. It's about Respect.
Anyone can be Anything they like.
Than don't be something you're NOT.
They're just voicing their opinions.
Well then, I'm just voicing mine.

Do you work with efficiency, are you always on time?
Anybody can work hard, but is it hard all the time?
Anyone can say they give 100 percent,
Sometimes your 100 percent is only 40 percent in mine.
How many times have you committed an error,
How many times have you needed facilitation.
How many times have you been in trouble,
How many times have you asked me for help.
When it's slow, how many times have you stood around to gossip,
When it's busy, how often have you asked for assistance.
Do you know why you do what you do?
Or do you just do what you're told.
Do you think work is about doing the minimal,
Or do you think because you're so pretty you are just so exceptional.
How many of your co-workers respect you for your work,
I can tell you, if you think it's many, it's only cause they want to sleep with you.
Too bad, you already have slept with a few.
Think about how many times I've bussed your tables,
Or the number of oaiso's I did because you were too busy, too talkative, too lazy
Shit, you didn't even listen when I attempted to train you.
What about the times I ran out your food, filled up your soy sauces, and cleaned up your bar.
Don't forget about you dropping a whole tray of food,
Or you knocking 40 clean cups which were drenched in soda cause you failed to pick em up.
A simple thank you would suffice.

But no, instead you want to knock my work ethic and my lack of skill.
You want to talk per shift or you want to talk skill level of serving.
How many cups can you carry full? Six.
How many empty cups can you carry empty with plates? >13
How many cups can you carry without plates? <20 p="">How many times do you get ice per shift? >3
How many times do you buss tables other than your own? >5
How many tables do you buss that are your own ? >10
How many drinks do you run from the bar? >10
How many drinks do you run not including yours? >20
How many plates do you serve that are not your own? >20
How many plates do you serve that are your own >40
Do you ever get drinks for someone else?
Do you ever get drinks for someone else without them asking?
What about plate settings, silverware or sauces?
Do you always do what you're told,?
Do you ever do anything without anyone asking?
Do you always have to do something when someone's looking?
What do you do when no one's looking.
Do you ever wonder why it took you so long to move up?
Do you even know why you were moved up?
How many times do you do a deep clean? Is it once per shift?
Why would you fill up all the nozoki's with ginger and wasabi,
When we run out of nozoki's for customers?
Don't you realize that we need nozoki's for the customers too?
Have you ever changed a beer keg?
Have you ever changed a beer keg when it's busy?
What about changing a beer keg when You're busy?
There's a difference of doing something when you're free and when you're busy, ya know.
How many times have you helped dishwasher?
How many times have you helped dishwasher empty the garbage, the water drain, or a bus tub?
How many times have you done the dishes?
How many times have you placed the cups, washed the cups, and called for cups?
How many times do you get cup racks a shift?
How many times have you changed the water bucket?
How many times have you Deep cleaned?

I started answering these and I realized it's not even a fair race for you.
So maybe your knowledge of restaurant business is better.
Do you know how many servers there are per shift?
Do you know why there so many servers per shift?
Do you remember who has which section?
Do you know which chefs are entitled to make which dishes,
Do you remember which items are on the happy hour?
What are the five fishes for the five weekdays?
If you buss a table, do you remember to wipe it and set it up?
Or do you just gather part of the dishes and wait for reinforcements to arrive.
Has anyone ever asked for you to train them?

Maybe that's not fair as well either.
Lets ask the co-workers.
"Lazy, talks too much. Annoying. Too fake, Pretty, but ignorant, Attitude. Stupid. Airhead, Pothead, Immature, Moody, Not too bright. Not too smart. Dumb, Idiotic, Cool but not. I hate this server. I don't like the pretty one."

What's funny is that this whole thing isn't about me being lazy or cocky,
It's more about you and your work ethic and responsibility.
Sure you moved up to the highest position possible,
But sometimes it's not about you.  It's about the restaurants' needs.
It's more about you being accountable for your actions.
I'm not here to play Daddy. I'm not here to clean up after your mess.
If you wanna knock on me that's fine, do your thing.
But be sure you have the accountability and work ability to back your shit up.
Kinda like how this is a job you need, and this is something I find fun for leisure
You need this job for your weed, I took this job just for fun.
And before you ask for someone else's opinion of me, just remember
Rule #37 is all that matters here.
Actions Always Speak Louder than Words.

Haters Gonna Hate.

Suck My cockiness, Lick my Persuasion.

It’s funny how the world works.
We judge books by its cover before we read the first page.
We look at the cover and decide if we even want to read the first page.
It’s amazing how the cover-art is what separates us from reading it.
Perception.
If we used this to our advantage, we would be using it for the wrong reasons.
And when we don’t use it to our advantage, we would passive in action.
We’ll never get looked at.
It’s like screaming for attention yet hiding behind dull colors.
We carry on with ourselves, minding what is only our business.
Working on our cover, working on our perception.
Some will stop by, some will pass
Others might pick it up, others might not
When you’re so focused on your book, sometimes the readers are confused
As if the book was telling all the other books how much better it is
Cocky they yell, as you forever improve your novel.
Books are always writing, It is just a matter what the context is.
For every ten books, only one is written from the heart.
The others, are only written to be writing.
It’s not cocky if the author has mastered his craft,
It’s only confident that he is sure its masterpiece will be published.
We are all writers of our own books, it does not matter to most what they write in them.
But it’s important that at least I know what I know is true.
Jealousy is only for those that feel it,
Haters for only those that won’t write it.
Anything is possible, all except the Bible
Never complain that you can’t write,
Only ask for advice on how to write.
Never write the fiction story that we all wish we could live,
Only provide the truth in what you believe.
Not everyone will enjoy your story,
Yet those who do, will always read it again.
Not every good book, receives its fame.
But every good book, will be remembered by name.
It’s not cocky, it’s confident.
We are still a library, and I am just one book.

Happy Veterans Day.

Preface Part I.

Sadly, there is no complete number of lives lost fighting for Freedom and fighting for the American Dream.  There is no end to the forever fight against terrorism, discrimination, and racism.  We, the People, are forever fighting for fair, equal, practice of the dreams our fore fathers scribed in the United States Constitution.

America has been around for almost 250 years after leaving the British colonies name and British Government for good.  Of course, there was the war of 1812, where Britain tried taking back the Americas.  Speaking of war, there were too many to count for the United States.  To name just a few, there was the Civil War, where America fought to abolish slavery against the South Confederates.   There was the Spanish-American War and Mexican Revolution War.  And then there is the on-going war against North Korea and Terrorism in the Middle East.

America has come a long way in the last two centuries with one goal in mind, Freedom.  Freedom, a very thing every 3rd world country wish they had, and the very thing every American takes for granted.  With freedom, every American is free to do anything besides pay taxes and die.   Of course, we can never forget the importance of everyone who has lived in the American history books.  We shall never forget of the many innocent Indian Americans that died fighting for the land the American states stole.  Nor can we forget the Japanese Americans we placed in internment camps during World War II.  Or the African Americans that were mistreated in all aspects of the uncivilized possible ways thought to humans with slavery.

America has had its dark moments minus the wars.   Such as the times White  Americans abused their privileges and divided America with segregation against African Americans, Asians, Indians, and anything else without white skin.  The railroad business, which killed hundreds if not thousands of Chinese Americans with Dynamite, or the abusive work conditions given to children under the age of 16.   Millions of Americans have lost their lives because of American policy, rules, and laws.    With help from leaders such as Martin Luther King Jr., Ghandi, Malcom X, Susan B. Anthony, and Caesar Chavez to name a few, America has grown stronger in every day of its existence.

America, like any other country, has its great historic moments we will carry on forever.  America, like any other country, has had its horrendous and horrified historic moments in which, we wish but will never, forget.  We have long withheld our ground with one goal in mind, Freedom.  Millions have died trying to obtain it, Millions have died trying to protect it.  We will never forget those that we personally have known, living the American Dream.
Preface Part II.

If history has taught us one thing, it is that we are all the same as humans.  Whether we have the same or different beliefs, cultures, communities, and governments, we are one civilization of the human race. As humans, we represent knowledge, power, and love, much of which none of any other living organism have.  We are each an individual of the human race, and compose our families, communities, cities, states, and countries.  Whether we live in the United States or some unknown Island, we are humans with our own minds, goals, habits, and knowledge.

Humans like any other organism, have a history of existence.  We each have our parents, grandparents, siblings, and other relatives.  We all live, we all die.  If we were the most fortunate, we grew up living with our parents, grandparents, cousins, and other relatives.  If we were lucky, we at least remember our family members or know of their existence.  Unfortunately, there are always other unfortunate souls that have grown up without any knowledge of their biological families and relatives.  Some, growing up with foster parents or aunts and uncles.  Others, troubled by the state or countries laws that allow children to fall into nightmares of implausible living conditions never imagined nor wished upon anyone.

America, along with all living countries, have very similar situations within their own community.  Whether we address them as individuals or together as a world, we all have our positives and we all have our negatives.  Whether we acknowledge them and fight for the better of their existence depends on us as individuals.  Sort of like Macro and Micro economics, we either focus on the overall picture or we change it minutely within ourselves. Regardless of where we stand, if I could request one thing after reading this libro, please please please, never judge a person by its cover.  I promise you, things are never how they seem.  And just maybe, you might miss out on someone great.

It all starts within ourselves.

To Be Continued

28.10.13

Birth Reflection.

We annually celebrate the day in which we were born
We receive gifts of existence, appreciate the sacrifice,
Share gratitudes of dedication,
And Appreciate all the accomplishments through the year.
We have a couple toasts, maybe a few drinks,
Well, you will have a few drinks... I will have a soda.
And together, we express our livelihood and celebrate,
Everything that we have become.
We spend it with loved ones, We spend it with friends,
We spend it with strangers,
Or maybe we spend it alone,

Take this moment to self-reflect.
Another year has gone by,
Another year added to the sum,
We are forever growing, to the thing we wanted to be.
As the year goes by, the goals we wanted most,
Are fulfilled,
Maybe not to our thinking, maybe not to our wants
But totaled to where we were last year,
Hopefully, we have furthered ourselves,
To the ultimate person we want to be.

Although our birthday is once a year,
our thirst for knowledge, our thirst for desire
Increases every day of the year.
Along the way we have lived life to our fullest.
With happiness comes sadness,
With challenge comes controversy.
We did things we wanted to do, we did things we thought we wouldn't.
We talked to those we wanted to talk to,
We dreamed of those we didn't.
Friendships have come,
Relationships have gone.
For better or worse,
Social media has plugged into the lives of most.

As a year goes by, change is in its itinerary,
Live with excitement, Live for the glory.
Remember to be responsible, Remember to mature.
With each action, there is a reaction.
And with each reaction comes a consequence.
Always live to the capabilities,
Never out live outside the means, never be something you're not.
Live like it's your last,
You might never get that opportune moment again.

Set more goals to accomplish,
Think of more ways to better ourself.
Take those dreams we still have,
Put those in reality and shall have a better birth next year.
If we knew what we knew now, but last year,
Just imagine how much greater we would be.
Challenge yourself to become greater than you thought you would.
Challenge yourself to being a better person you were today.

Next time you're in the bar, Next time you order your drink.
Raise your glass and prepare a toast.

It's not what you were yesterday that matters,
It's what you do today that will shape everyone's future.
Always live in the present but keep in mind the future.
Don't let the past affect you, Just keep it in your rule.
Never make the same mistake twice, never think you're outside the lines.
Remember to live like it's your only
Because You only get one.
We are forever growing,
We are forever young.

Happy Birthday
